Train prices apply and train times will be displayed shortly. This is a popular fun, event that has run for three years. Train leaves Barnstaple Railway station at 18.08 and arrives at Eggesford at 18.35, train leaves Eggesford at 21.35 and returns to Barnstaple at 22.04. 31st Meet the Preservation Hall Jazz Band Zena's Restaurant, Market Street, Barnstaple, North Devon Preserving the New Orleans tradition, the World renowned "Preservation Hall Jazz Band" are travelling from their home town in the USA to delight North Devon audiences as part of the North Devon Festival. They play at the Queens Theatre, Barnstaple on Friday the 1st of June 2007 (box office 01271 324242). There will be an opportunity to meet them on the 31st of May at Zena`s Restaurant, Market Street, Barnstaple, North Devon from 7-30, a charge of £5.00 per head will cover a Buffet and wine. This special reception event has been organised by the well known New Orleans drummer Guy Fenton, he has invited some of his musician friends to play at the reception including Steve. 17th Goldcoast Oceanfest 2007, Croyde, North Devon UK EX33 1NZ 15,16,17th June (Celebrating freesports and youth culture) The Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Band have just been asked back to perform at this years exciting coolest surf and music festival in Europe. The Oceanfest, now in its 9th year, is the biggest single component of the month long North Devon Festival. The Oceanfest is a freesport and music festival historicaly held on the summer solstice weekend, a week before the world renowed Glastonbury music festival. The event showcases surfing, beach football and beach vollyball, paddle racing, surf boats, surf skis, aquathon, kitesurfing, mtb trials, mountain boarding, skateboarding and BMX junping. The Croyde arena claims a live music stage and big screen alongside a trade village incorporating licenced bars and resaurants, adrelanin zones, demos, exhibitions, sampling, simulators and corporate hospitality, so the All Stars will feel naturaly at home!! The boys won't be playing on the train for these gigs but will meet you at The Fox and Hounds. Lunch is available from 12pm, the All Stars will play 3 x 45 minute sets, and there will be two sittings for this super Sunday lunch. Train times from Barnstaple, North Devon leave at 11.10 arriving at Eggesford at 11.42, or 13.19 arriving at venue 13.46. Return train times from Eggesford back to Barnstaple are 16.39 arriving 17.06, or a later departure of 18.41 then back in at 19.06.
