The Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Band are one of the top West Country Jazz Bands, and are guaranteed to get your party into full swing. With a wide range of jazz songs to suit all tastes and styles, listen or dance to the band; they're going to get your feet tapping with jives and spirituals, romantic ballads to blues and boogie. With over twenty weddings a year and many special party functions around Devon and Cornwall the Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Band are very experienced and professional in their approach. The band are more than happy to discuss in detail your special day, giving advice or making suggestions to make your event memorable and very unique to you.

The Steve Tucker All Stars play a three hour set with breaks, keeping the atmosphere going with CD recorded music in the breaks. The band can play two sets of 75 minutes or three sets of 45 minutes, flexible to requirements. For a small extra charge we can run an hour disco for you to follow the band's performance. A question often asked is how much space the band will need. Although flexible again, a minimum of 20 by 15 feet is required. An independent, secure power supply will be needed close by at the venue. If the band are required to play outside a cover must be provided, i.e. marquee/tent or gazebo type, again with a safe power supply nearby.

Didnt want to the day go without letting you know what a great gig it was today - brightened our day and the crowd were having such fun! Line dancing to My Baby Just Cares for Me was such a great sight, jivers going for it, and people smiling and children dancing about. The organiser chappie walked back from the other side with us and as we came back to your gig I said to him about how brilliant your marketing was, the effort you make with badges for the children and the flags - he was most impressed so hope you get the return gig. You chose some swinging numbers which people knew and enjoyed and that is what is so different about your band, you engage with the audience and it makes them feel part of it all. Hi Steve,
We liked all the music you played last Sunday and it was great to see other people dancing 'non-partner' style, particularly with their kids. Hope you will play more of the same. In fact, we like all your music, The Lindy Hop 'founder' Frankie Manning died the other day aged nearly 95. Derek and Jane were due to attend his 95th so they might want to do some kind of 'tribute'. They haven't mentioned it to us but they may mention it to yourself. Thanks for the complements about our dancing although a member of your band think you are a bit of a meanie for giving out a 10 then retracting to a 7!! Still, it keeps us on our toes (literally) and it's a great fun. Mark is a real slave driver (bless!) but we both agree your band make it so easy to dance to. We wished you could have gone on all afternoon so a big thanks to YOU and you band. Can't wait to get hold of you new CD and we're really looking forward to the Exeter Dance gig.
